How to Master Guitar Chords

Ever wished you have fingers like pro when they strum their guitars? I’m sure you do because I envy them too. It’s just so amazing how their fingers move so fast yet they play fluidly and the melody is just perfect without even letting their eyes drop in their fingers!

There are steps that I found out recently and I wanted to share them to you so you could also master the guitar chords and eventually you can play well too. I have tried it personally and I hope it’ll work on you.

The way pro’s strum their guitars is the result of the developed muscle memory. When you practice more often your muscles begin to familiarize the next position where they would head to. Just like your body clock, when you are used in sleeping around 10pm then when the clock strikes at 10pm then you’ll notice you feel sleepy. Our muscles have the ability to adopt to change that we put into it and tend to memorize our action. So for instance you practice song with the chords G, C, A and D for a particular period let’s say a week then your muscle already know where to position themselves without even the need to place them there.

Other tip for guitar chords mastery is to have variation in your practice. Develop simple changes like switching from the easy one or the basic to harder chords such as sharps. But don’t force yourself to do the very hard chords instantaneously. In addition, you have to do this by incorporating at 3-4 chords every time you practice. You can reach that point where you can also master the power chords but it takes long time before you can do it so just be patient.

When you do this constantly then you’ll have bigger chances of mastering the guitar chords in shorter time. Everything can be learned in the right time. Just don’t push too hard to reach your expectations because this might lead to disastrous frustration especially that you are still starting to learn the stuff.

Now that you know exactly what to do in order to master playing the guitar chords, it’s time you get your guitar and start doing the thing. Every minute counts, so if you don’t have songs with chords inside the house then surf the internet and find one and start strumming your guitar like a pro.
